Your information stays on your device
Everything you enter and every file you add is stored only on your device, protected by your passcode and your device's security. The owner of this app does not receive, store, see, or have any access to your information. There is no central server holding your data.
Only you can protect and recover it
- You set a passcode and a recovery method (such as Face ID, fingerprint, or a recovery question) when you start.
- If you lose both your passcode and your recovery method, your information cannot be recovered by anyone — not by us, because we never had it. Please keep your recovery method somewhere safe.
- Backing up your device is up to you. We recommend you back up to your own cloud or computer so you don't lose your information if your device is lost or damaged.
You decide what to store — and you're responsible for it
The app does not require you to store any particular kind of information. What you add is entirely your choice. By using the app you confirm that:
- You have the right to store and share any information you put in the app, including information about another person you care for or anyone else.
- You are responsible for the information you choose to store and for keeping it accurate.
- If you store information about a child or another adult, you have the authority to do so as their parent, guardian, or authorized caregiver.
Sharing by email is your choice
When you use the Email feature, the app prepares a message in your own email app with the information or documents you choose to attach. You decide who to send it to, and you send it yourself through your own email account. We are not involved in sending it and are not responsible for what you share or who you share it with.
This app does not give medical, legal, or other professional advice
The app is a place to organize and store information. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, legal, educational, or financial advice. Always rely on qualified professionals for decisions about care, treatment, education, or benefits.
No responsibility for storage, loss, or sharing
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the owner of this app is not responsible for: any loss of your information; how your information is stored, backed up, or secured on your device or your own cloud; or anything that happens to information after you choose to share it. You use the app at your own risk.
License to use the app
When you purchase or unlock the app, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use it on devices you own or control. You may not resell, redistribute, or attempt to reverse-engineer the app.
Purchase and unlock
The app is free to download. Full use is unlocked either with a code (for example, provided through a partner organization's membership) or with a one-time in-app purchase. Unlock terms, refunds, and billing for in-app purchases are handled through the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) according to their own policies.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the app lawfully and only for purposes consistent with caregiving. You will not use the app to store or transmit information you do not have the right to use.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and, for substantive changes, will provide reasonable notice through the app or this website.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
