Common questions

Good to know.

Where is my information stored?
Only on your own device, protected by your passcode and your device's security. The company that owns this app does not receive, store, see, or have any access to your information. There is no central server. Backing up your device is your responsibility — we recommend you back up to your own cloud or computer.
What happens if I forget my passcode?
When you first set up the app, you create a recovery question and answer. That lets you reset your passcode on your device, without anyone else being involved. Because your information is stored only on your device and we don't hold a copy, if you lose both your passcode and your recovery answer, your data cannot be recovered by anyone.
How many profiles can I manage?
Up to 5 separate profiles per app. If you're caring for more than one person, you can also start a new profile from a copy of an existing one — useful when twins or siblings share much of the same information — and then edit the differences. Each profile is independent.
Can I share information with providers?
Yes. Any section can be exported as a PDF, or emailed directly through your own email app with the PDF and any documents you choose to attach. The email goes through your own account — we are never in the middle.
Is there really no subscription?
Really. Pay $9.99 once and the app is yours. We don't sell ads, your data, or add-ons. Some partner organizations include the app as a member benefit with a free unlock code — check with your organization to see if it's offered.
